Today, an online meeting was held to collaborate with a team of students from the National University of Engineering of Peru headed by Mrtin Salazar. The participants of this meeting from K.N Toosi University of Technology were Dr. Mehran Mirshams (Professor of Space Engineering & Director of KNTU Space Research Laboratory) , Dr. Morteza Tayefi (Professor of Flight Dynamics and Control Engineering & ADCS lead of KNTU Space Research Laboratory), Arshiya and Moein (space engineering students).

The main focus of this meeting was to review the initial simulations of Cubesat’s ADCS subsystem and analyze its challenges.

This cubesat, which was designed by the team of Peruvian students, will be placed by NASA in the High Altitude Student Platform (HASP) project along with other payloads if it passes the assembly and testing stages successfully. More information about this collaboration will be posted on the laboratory’s website after the upcoming meetings.
