Each Laboratory unit, in order to perform testing, needs designing and making of test stands and also Laboratory samples of the supposed collection. In space industry, due to current conditions, the idea of localizing the elements and devices used in space industry needs the advancement of manufacturing technologies. Therefore Technology and Manufacturing Department of Space Research Laboratory is established in order to answer the needs of the country in this field. This department has made great advancements by the help of professional experts of the country and a network of knowledge based private companies and also by cooperating with different professional Laboratoryies at Khajeh Nasir-e-Din Toosi University.

Some of the achievements of this department are: Designing and making research engineering samples of RW2100 & RW2000 reaction wheels.Designing and making research samples of MEHR 100 magnetic actuators . Designing and making the simulator of the magnetic environment of space systems in 100 Km orbits. Obviously, due to the developing trend of space programs in the country, the need to access to modern technologies is felt more than before and the Technology and Manufacturing Department of Space Research Laboratory can help the country to a great extent.
