29 May 2021 NIKI SAJJAD is officially designated as National Point of Contact for Iran; By Executive Council of the Space Generation Advisory Council in Support of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications (SGAC). Her term will last for two years, until May 2023. During that time, she is appointed to act as representative of SGAC in Iran.
Space Research Laboratory organized this webinar in collaboration with the KNTU Aerospace Scientific Association. In this webinar, Mr. Morteza Abbasi, Executive Director of the Space Research Laboratory, introduced space engineering, stated the prerequisite of students for study in this field, and a Q&A session was held at the end.

All the members congratulated this day and wished peace, well-being, and success to Dr. Mehran Mirshams, Professor of KNTU Aerospace engineering faculty and The Space Research Laboratory director.
The end-of-year meeting of the members of the Space Research Laboratory was held virtually due to Covid-19 restrictions. Dr. Mehran Mirshams, Head of the Laboratory, while congratulating the arrival of the New Year, wished a year full of success, well-being and health to the members of the laboratory and all the people of the world. Visit of students group from SRL. Sunday 28 February the group of high-school students had a short visit of Space Research Lab. SRL executive manager Mr. Morteza Abbasi introduced current Lab’s research titles and show them some of the students teams outcomes. Such activities help high-school students to choose their future specialty more accurately.
RECOVE team got the first place in the Rahneshan National Talent Competition, after months of hard work. This Competition was held in different areas and RECOVE achieved the highest score in the "Recovery of Microsatellite" project.
